Penny 1858 8 over 2, this variety previously thought to be 8 over 3 with die cracks showing thinly through the bottom of all four digits of the date showing an earlier stage of the die break associated with this type, recent research has stated this is more likely to be 8 over 2, indeed this coin shows a small point at the bottom left of the 8.
