Mozambique Banco Nacional Ultramarino (2) 1000 Escudos Second 1972 issue Pick 115 dated 23rd May 1972 serial number 0394718. The note in green on multicoloured underprint with the obverse featuring a small Mozambique Coat of Arms at the time at upper centre right and G. Coutinho at left. The reverse with small Bank's Coat of Arms at lower centre left and an illustration of Gago Coutinho & Sacadura Cabral in an airplane cockpit. Watermarked with G. Coutinho same as on obverse. Fresh, presentable and crisp EF minor marginal nick at lower centre left but this not affecting the note's general appearance. Also, 10 Escudos Pick 84 dated 1st September 1941 serial number B2082255 and signature pair Artur Meneses Correia de Sá & António dos Santos Viejas. Bradbury Wilkinson print in brown on multicoloured underprint featuring a portrait of F. De Oliveira Chamizo at left, Mozambique's Coat of Arms at the time at lower centre and the Bank's Coat of Arms at right on obverse. The reverse featuring an Allegorical 'Maritime' woman overlooking sailing ships of different periods (steam & sailing). Presentable VF or near so and in difference to its Thomas De La Rue print in green this much Rarer and seldom seen War-time note, especially in issued format
