Electrotype: Sicily, Akragas AR Tetradrachm. Circa 409-406 BC. Nymph or goddess driving quadriga galloping to left, about to turn, her robes billowing behind her; tablet inscribed [ΑΚΡΑΓ / ИOИITИAON], long thin club in exergue / Two eagles, one raising head and screaming, the other with head lowered, both perched on dead hare which lies upon a rock. Head, Guide Period II, 16 var. (no river god on obv.); for prototype, cf. Rizzo pl. III, 5; Seltman, Engravers, 15 and pl. II, Jv. 7.37g, 26mm, 3h.
