Obverse: Allegorical representation of Dalmatia seated left on rocks, holding cornucopia and resting hand upon wheel; Reverse: Plan of the fortifications at Split [Spalatro]. A great Napoleonic type, this piece--featuring rich chocolate brown surfaces--isn't often encountered. Some evidence of die rust is noted, but typical for the issue.
