Diva Faustina Senior. Died AD 140/1. Æ Sestertius (34mm, 21.80 g, 12h). Consecration issue. Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, circa AD 141-146. Veiled and draped bust right, wearing hair bound in pearls on top of her head / Eagle flying right, carrying on its back Diva Faustina Senior, who has her mantle in circle over head, holding scepter. RIC III 1133 (Pius); Banti 59. Green patina, chipped in a few places, some earthen deposits. Fine. Rare.
