Marcus Aurelius. AD 161-180. Æ Sestertius (33mm, 28.55 g, 7h). Rome mint. Struck AD 169. Laureate head right / Salus standing left, holding scepter and feeding from patera a serpent coiled around and rising from altar to left. RIC III 964; MIR 18, 182-6/30; Banti 267. Olive-green patina and tan earthen highlights, some scratches and deposits. VF. Attractive in hand.
