An early Tiahuanaco jar from Bolivia, ca. 300 - 500 A.D. This flared bowl is 5-1/8" in diameter and is decorated with deeply incised lightning designs, an early fertility related motif. Nicely burnished, strong mineral deposits. Value range: $150 - $200.
