Pontos, Amisos. Under Mithradates VI Eupator. Ca. 85-65 B.C. AE 16 (15.5 mm, 4.33 g, 12 h). Head of Dionysos right, wreathed in ivy / [A]MI-Σ[O]Y, ethnic divided by thyrsos; monogram in field right. SNG BM Black Sea 1192-1195 (various monograms). Good VF / VF, Reverse 40% off-center to west, loses half of ethnic, attractive smooth dark green patina.
