Irish Historical Medals from Various Properties

Entry of William III into Dublin, 1690, a cast silver medal, unsigned (by J. Luder [?]), William on horseback left about to cross the Boyne, battle in background, rev. William, hand on tripod altar, offers Liberty cap to kneeling Hibernia, to the left, James II flees, leaving sceptre on ground, 50mm, 22.14g (MI I, 721/145). Old scratch in obverse field, good fine and very rare £300-£400
