Bust right, crown above; THE DOPHIN OF FRANCE around / MAY THE DOPHIN BE RESTORED TO THE CROWN IN FRANCE; crown above, I.W cypher below. Extremely Fine; toned with some original luster evident; light scratch behind the head; well struck for this issue. This is a very rare piece, seldom seen though D&H do not rate its rarity. The reverse on this is particularly well struck-look at the D&H plate coin for comparison.
