Charles I (1625-1649), Chester mint, Halfcrown, mm. prostrate gerb, horseman left, crowned oval shield with lion-skin garniture, colon before legend, 13.50g/6h (Bull 578a; Lyall a/i; SCBI Brooker 1113, same dies; N 2628; S 3131). Clash marks below horse as usual, staining on reverse and possible signs of mounting, otherwise better than fine, rare £600-£800
