Republic copper Proof Trial Strike "Carlos Manuel de Cespedes" 100 Pesos 1977 PR65 Red Cameo NGC, KM-Unl. (cf. KM43). Plain edge. A very scarce trial issue in copper. Only a single trial strike of the type is recorded in the Standard Catalog of World Coins, though this is in brass (KM-TS5). The present offering represents the finest example we have been able to locate.
