(BHM.705, R3; Eimer -), in red leather case of issue, some very faint graffiti, perhaps a name, shows above the wreath on reverse, nearly very fine and excessively rare

The actual purpose of this medal is unknown, but the reverse design suggests that if it were to have been struck in silver, it would make a handsome presentation piece (it is only known in copper, BHM.listing a single specimen, in the Ashmolean Museum).
