Mudie, James, The Grand Series of National Medals: the complete set of the forty bronze medals 'Recording the National Victories During the Reign of George III', produced by James Mudie and manufactured by Sir Edward Thomason, issued 1820, the medals in two fitted trays, each medal in a numbered recess, within original green leather book-type library case with gilt stamped decoration and Royal Arms of George III, the medals mint state or virtually so, the case and trays in excellent order, overall a superb presentation and when together with the published catalogue, complete original sets are very rare (40 + book)
