The Pavilion Collection, Commemorative Medals, Queen Caroline (1768-1821), of Brunswick, silhouetted portrait, brass cliché, c. 1820-21, her bust r., wearing plumed hat, 39 x 28.5mm., good very fine, seemingly unpublished; cast bronze portrait roundel, c. 1821, bust almost full-face, wearing large feathered hat, stippled background, plain border, 60mm., very fine, seemingly unpublished; the Queen's Trial, the Divorce [Pains and Penalties] Bill, large uniface cast gilt-copper medal, 1820, from the medal believed by Antoine Desboeufs or Amédée Pierre Durand, unsigned, bust of Caroline l., wearing high lace collar, medal 81mm., with frame 122.5mm. (cf. BHM.1026 and lot 511), frame with suspension loop, the gilding somewhat spotted and rubbed, very fine and the medal unrecorded thus; black and white enamel portrait roundel, perhaps intended as a part of a mirror stand, printed with facing bust with bouffant hair and plumed hat, brass border, 43mm., one small knock and surface hairlines, very fine (4)
