The medal's reverse uses a die by W. Mossop Sr., used on earlier Orange Association medals. Both dies for this medal are now in the Royal Irish Academy. The example listed in D&W has an engraved edge inscription, LANDED AT THE ROYAL HARBOUR OF HOWTH AUG 12TH 1821.
