ARABIA, Rabbathmoba(?). Pseudo-autonomous issue. temp. Septimius Severus, AD 193-211. PB Seal (16mm, 3.25 g). Striated fabric pattern / Cult statue of Ares facing on basis, holding sword, shield, and spear; uncertain animal to right. Cf. Spijkerman 8; cf. Sofaer 5 for reverse prototype. Gray-brown patina with some light earthen highlights/deposits. VF. Rare and unusual.
