Macrinus. AD 217-218. AR Denarius (18mm, 2.75 g, 6h). Rome mint, 4th officina. 3rd emission, AD 218. Laureate and draped bust right, wearing long beard, seen from behind / Annona standing left, holding cornucopia and grain ears over modius containing grain ears set on ground to left. RIC IV 26; Clay Issue 3; RSC 47a (Antioch). Bright, slightly granular surfaces, some cleaning marks. Good VF.
