Provenance: Ex Wilkes & Curtis auction 1, 16 June 2014, lot 246. This is the final year in which the Tulunids struck dinars in Palestine before the Abbasids were able to re-establish their own authority there. Abbasid dinars are also known for this date and for subsequent years into the reign of al-Muqtadir.
