Edward IV first reign (1461-70), Groat, Light Coinage, struck with 'heavy' obverse and 'new' reduced reverse dies, Tower, type Va5, 3.09g, 11h, m.m. rose/rose, annulets at neck, fleur on breast, rev. eye after tas (Blunt & Whitton Va5; N.1562; S.1996), small flan split at 1 o'clock, otherwise lightly toned, a really good fine, rare.
