Edward IV first reign (1461-70), Groat, Light Coinage, struck with heavy dies, Tower, type Vb1/Vb3, 3.26g, 2h, m.m. large rose/small rose, quatrefoils by neck, trefoil on breast, saltire stops, rev. eye after tas, cross stops (Blunt & Whitton Vb; N.1564; S.1997), a short, irregular flan but a heavy issue for light coinage, good fine, scarce.
