Edward IV first reign (1461-70), Halfgroats (6), Light Coinage, Canterbury, Archbishop Bourchier, type Ca, 1.31g, 9h, m.m. pall (on obv. only), similar to last, trefoils on cusps, except above crown, quatrefoils omitted beside neck (N.1590; S.2025), some creasing, flat, fair; another, type Cc, 1.41g, 7h, m.m. pall (on obv. only), similar to last, but no knot, quatrefoils by neck, rev. no stops (Blunt & Whitton VIb/VII; N.1589; S.2028), fine; also, type D, 1.40g, 8h, m.m. crown (on obv. only), trefoils on cusps above crown, otherwise as last (DIG 10/1; Blunt & Whitton VII; N.1589; S.2029), fair to fine; another, type D, 1.39g, 8h, m.m. crown (on obv. only), as last, rev. contraction mark after adivtore' (N.1589; S.2029), cleaned, otherwise a bold fine; type D, 1.44g, 2h, m.m. crown (on obv. only) saltires by neck (N.1589; S.2030), small chip, toned, good fine; lastly, type E, 1.38g, 4h, m.m. crown (on obv. only) similar to others, except trefoils by neck, but not on cusps above crown (Blunt & Whitton VIII; N.1589; S.2031), this cleaned and creased, thus fine, otherwise an impressive group (6).
