Edward IV, second reign (1471-83), Halfgroat, type XII, York, 1.46g, 10h, m.m. lis, saltire stops, as London type (DIG 1/1; Blunt and Whitton XII; N.1633; S.2109), chipped, with a die break across chin and some striking softness, nevertheless fine, extremely rare, one of perhaps four recorded examples with one in the Fitzwilliam.
