Edward VI (1547-53), Threepence, third coinage, fine silver issue, Tower, 1.51g, 11h, m.m. tun, crowned bust three-quarters facing, rose and value beside, rev. square-topped shield over cross fourchée (N.1940; S.2485), a trace of surface creasing, otherwise lightly toned, very fine or near so, the portrait pleasing.
