Charles I (1625-49), Unite, a contemporary forgery in gilt silver, in the style of Group G, Tower, 8.26g, 6h, m.m. sun, :(m.m.): carolvs: d: g: mag: bri: fra • et: hib: rex, crowned, draped and cuirassed bust left, wearing stellate lace collar, xx behind, rev. fl[o]rent • concordia • regna(m.m.)•, ns with inward pointing serif, lozenge stops, crowned oval garnished shield dividing crowned cypher (cf. Brooker 1184), sharp scoring across bust and some edge furling, otherwise much gilding remains on a full flan, struck details a bolder fine, rare.
