Charles I (1625-49), Unite, a contemporary forgery in gilt silver, in the style of Group G, Tower, 8.06g, 6h, m.m. sun, •(m.m.)• carolvs • d • g • ma[g] • bri • fr[a] • et • hi • rex, crowned, draped and cuirassed "Oxford" bust left, value behind, rev. crowned oval garnished shield dividing crowned cypher (Brooker 1184 this coin), patches of gilding worn and somewhat double-struck on reverse, otherwise fine, rare.
