Charles I (1625-49), Halfcrown, a contemporary forgery from false dies, struck with silver layering over a copper core, in the style of Bridgnorth-on-Severn, '1646', 8.13g, 11h, legends illegible (cf. Brooker 1123; cf. S.3036A-37), of convincing style, but clipped small to reveal subterfuge, good to fair, rare.
