Commonwealth (1649-60), Halfcrown, a contemporary forgery in base silver, '1651', 10.69g, 7h, m.m. sun (on obv. only) (cf. ESC 17 [426]; cf. N.2722; cf. S.3215), slightly double-struck, but of competent workmanship, a small scratch across obverse shield, otherwise a bold fine, scarce.
