Commonwealth (1649-60), Halfcrown, a forgery, struck in spelter or tin, '1653', 12.43g, 1h, m.m. sun (on obv. only) (cf. ESC 25 [429]; cf. N.2722; cf. S.3215), probably a later imitation, nevertheless unusual, with a few spots of tin pest, otherwise almost fine.
