George II (1727-60), Two-Guineas, 1738, young laureate head left, reads georgivs, rev. crowned garnished shield (Schneider II, 569; MCE 291; S.3667B), neatly pierced at 12 o'clock, and a light scratch behind head, nonetheless a pleasing coin of full flan residual lustre and tone in recesses, near very fine.
