Richard II (1377-99), Halfgroat, Tower, type III/II mule, 1.92g, 11h, m.m. cross pattée, reads fra, trefoils on cusps, double saltire stops, lombardic ns, rev. double saltire stops, forward-barred ns, bar above last (DIG III-1/II-7 {listed DIG 1/6 in error}; Potter III-6/IIa; N.1323/1322; S.1683/1682), small edge chip at 2 o'clock and a trace of flan creasing, otherwise toned, a bolder fine, very rare.
