Richard II (1377-99), Halfgroat, Tower, type III/IV mule, 2.15g, 11h, m.m. cross pattée, reads fra, trefoils on cusps, double saltire stops, lombardic ns, rev. double saltire stops, single after devm, horizontally-barred ns (DIG III-1/IV; Potter III-6/IIIbA; N.1323/1325; S.1683/1685), superficial surface porosity, otherwise toned, a bolder fine, very rare.
