FERRANDVS D G R SICILIE IE, crowned and armored bust right; T to left; annulet and double annulet stops / (rosette) IVSTA (annulet) TV ENDA (rosette), Archangel Michael right, spearing dragon to lower right; triple annulets and banner on spear end. Grierson, Coins of Medieval Europe 408 var. (no banner); MIR 69/2; Pannuti-Riccio 17b; MEC 14, 1003-4. Iridescent toning, areas of weak strike at periphery. Good VF.
