IRELAND. Edward IV. Second reign, 1471-1483. AR Groat (24mm, 2.16 g, 5h). Light 'Cross and Pellets' coinage. Dublin mint; Germyn Lynch, moneyer. Struck 1472-1478(?). Crowned facing bust in tressure of arches with trefoils at cusps; G on breast / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters. Cf. Grierson, Coins of Medieval Europe 439; cf. SCBI 22 (Copenhagen) 399 (for type); D&F 134; SCBC 6330. Toned, underlying luster, some weakness in legends. VF.
