Trajan. AD 98-117. Æ Dupondius (27mm, 12.67 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 107-108. Radiate bust right, slight drapery / Dacian captive kneeling right, hands bound behind back, on pile of arms; DAC CAP in exergue. RIC II – (but see 620, which is described for COS VI with DA CAP in exergue); Woytek 311b-2. Dark green patina with earthen highlights/deposits, roughness on obverse, old scrapes beneath patina on reverse. VF. Very rare, it is possible that RIC 620 is in error, and is actually describing this type for COS V.
