Thrace, Cherronesos. Ca. 386-338 B.C. AR hemidrachm (13 mm, 2.42 g). Forepart of lion right, head turned to look back / Quadripartite incuse square with alternating raised and sunken quarters; pellet and AΓ monogram in one sunken quarter, bee in the other. Weber 2409 and 2428; McClean 4090; SNG Copenhagen 832. Nice very fine.
