SICILY, Akragas (Agrigentum), (c.483-474 B.C.), silver didrachm, Jenkins Group IV, (8.38 g), obv. eagle with closed wings standing to left, AK behind, RA in front, rev. crab within circular incuse field, (cf.S.709, Gela group IV, Pl.37, 17 [same obverse die], SNG ANS 961 [same obverse die], SNG Ash. 1661). Toned, of good silver, very good/ fine.
