CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver antoninianus issued 215, Rome mint, (4.58 g), obv. radiate bust to right of Caracalla, draped and cuirassed, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM, rev. Jupiter seated left, holding Victory and sceptre, eagle at his feet, around P M TR P XVIII COS IIII P P, (S.6779, RIC 277b, RSC 342a). With light tone, good very fine, scarce.
