James Donohoe enlisted 04Nov1901 as a third class trooper and gave his place of origin as New South Wales. He was discharged on 27Sep1902.
His son, 1175 Pte William Henry Donohoe enlisted in the AIF at Claremont, Tasmania and was killed in action with 15Bn at Gallipoli on 29May1915. James Albert Donohoe, a publican, died on 29Jul1926 at age 63. He was late of the Continental Hotel, Melbourne and the Junction Hotel, Footscray, Victoria.
