P/J. 80866 G.W.J.Masom. A.B. on first medal, J.80866 G W J Mason. Boy. 1 R.N. on second and third medals (note mis-spelling of surname), fourth to eighth medals unnamed as issued, J. 80866 G.W.J.Masom. A.B. H.M.S.Aphis on last medal. All named medals impressed. Mounted on card, third to seventh medals with verdigris, second medal with contact marks, otherwise fine - good very fine.

George Wilfred James Masom, labourer, born 20Nov1900 at Littlehampton, Sussex, England; joined RN 20Nov1917 as Boy 2 posted to HMS Victory; various postings through to release on 21Feb1946 as Able Seaman.
