Fiji Government of Fiji 5 Shillings 1.7.1929 Pick 25j PMG Very Fine 25. This scarce and desirable uniface type circulated for approximately 15 years. During that time, print totals would suggest that only about 400,000 notes were issued. Crisp paper with strong colors increase the appeal of this note. Lightened notations on the blank back side are noted for accuracy on this example. These uniface types were replaced by the King George V portrait series beginning in 1934 when the majority of these older types were withdrawn. From The Drs.
