Sarawak Government of Sarawak 5 Dollars 1.7.1929 Pick 15 KNB21a PMG Very Fine 30. A well preserved 5 dollar from the 1929 to 1940 issue. Printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Company, this design features the portrait of an older Charles Vyner Brooke in uniform and has text English, Chinese, and Jawi languages. Interestingly, with this issue, the Latin motto Dum Spiro Spero (While I breathe, I hope) was added to the Brooke coat of arms. From The Drs.
