Carl XIV Johan gold Ducat 1821-LB MS65+ PCGS, Stockholm mint, KM594, Fr-84, SGM-18. An impressive offering, lightly Prooflike and glowing with enchanting luster. The weakness of strike in the ear area appears on other examples to a lesser extent, perhaps indicating a later die state or excessive polishing prior to the striking of this piece. Only the second example we have offered, and by far the finest certified across both major grading companies.
