Pedro II gold 5000 Reis 1857 UNC Details (Cleaned) NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM470, LMB-640. Mintage: 4,631. Just the third example of this very low mintage date we have offered, and one of only 2 at the uncirculated level in the NGC census. Often referred to as the "crown of thorns" type for the pointed shape of the pearls in the reverse crown.
