Iran Kingdom of Persia, Imperial Bank 5 Tomans ND (1890-1923) Pick 3cts Front and Back Color Trial Specimen PMG Uncirculated 62; Uncirculated 61. The central colors of the design are variegated pastels, with the portrait, denomination, and coat of arms printed in black. On back, an even blue with the Kingdom of Persia coat of arms topped with the Kiani crown at center. The overall eye appeal is nice and higher than the grades would suggest, with a minor repair and a reattached corner on each of the pieces. A roulette cancel, SPECIMEN, is noted on both pieces but incredibly small in format, making these color trials even more eye appealing than normal.
