Bermuda Bermuda Government 1 Pound 2.12.1914 Pick 1 PMG Very Fine 30. Rare in any condition, this stunning 1 Pound shares the highest grade with one other of the five total examples registered in the PMG Population Report. All details remain on this century old, well preserved note. Printed by the American Bank Note Company of Ottawa, the design features the Crest of Bermuda on the left with the banner that reads "Quo Fata Ferunt" (Whither the Fates Direct). The red serial numbers are bold and the manuscript signature of J.T. Gilbert and printed signature of Allen F. Smith are distinct. Recently, the other VF30 example crossed the auction block realizing $11,065. We would expect similar results for this Bermudan first issue rarity.
