Bermuda Bermuda Government 5 Pounds ND (1947) Pick 17cts Color Trial Specimen PMG Superb Gem Unc 68 EPQ. A gorgeous Color Trial Specimen of the highest denomination from the King George VI series. Currently there are only four examples registered in the PMG Population Report and this 5 Pounds shares the top spot with one other. There were two color versions of the issued notes from this series, the earlier type in brown (which was easily confused with the 5 Shillings note) and the later in orange. This Color Trial Specimen using blue intaglio features and yellow underprints, matches that of the 1 Pound note. Nevertheless, this eye appealing beauty will make a great addition to any Bermudan collection. Two POCs are present.
