Kienast-592; Hans Kaiser-1360. 58mm. By Karl Goetz. Obverse: The early airplanes of 1911 at an airfield; Reverse: Two eagles flying with the current airplanes of 1941 (Junkers Ju 87). Edge: Plain. A fairly SCARCE type from later in Goetz's career, this piece presents pleasing brown surfaces with a few minor casting pits.

This interesting aviation issue was commissioned by engineer Paul Gutt of Hamelin to commemorate the age of flight and the advancements that had been made since just before World War I to the early years of World War II.
