Triumphal arch, with wreath across front, surmounted by emperor in facing quadriga, accompanied by Pax and Victory; two soldiers flanking quadriga; statue of Mars in side niche of arch. RIC 499. AE. g. 28.06 mm. 34.00 R. Rare. A choice example, from masterly engraved and exceptionally detailed dies, with a superb portrait. Green brown patina. Slightly rough surfaces, otherwise EF.
