ANGLO-SAXON, Secondary Sceattas. Circa 725-735. AR Sceatt (12mm, 0.73 g, 3h). Series O, type 57 variety. Mint in Kent(?). Head left in beaded circle; all within wide segmented circular band, pellet in each segment / Monster left, head right. Abramson 54.10 var. (head right, cable border); cf. MEC 8 Series Oc; North –; SCBC 807C var. (same). Toned, die break on obverse. Good VF. Extremely rare.
